Peach Milk Tea - One of The Top 5 Favorites

Peach Milk Tea

Peach milk tea is one of the top 5 best boba tea flavors next to taro, tiger (brown) sugar, black tea, and matcha. Peaches have a juicy, tangy, and sweet taste to them (mostly sweet). The sweetness is around a 5 on a scale from one to ten, while the tang is around a 3. Peaches are one of my personal favorite fruits, especially since they are not as sweet as pineapples.

As a child I remember touching the skin of the peach fruit and feeling the fuzz. Definitely in lesser degrees than what I have now on my face, but it was nice.

Peach Bubble Tea Calorie Chart

Making a homemade peach milk tea; or for your boba shop is quite easy, and there are ingredients for it besides the mix or syrup. The main ingredient to make this is listed below for purchase:

This peach fruit syrup is made from real fruit. The takes 2 to 3 tablespoons of peach syrup for every 16 ounces, to create the peach milk tea. The syrup can be placed into water, milk tea, milk, or tea. Boba drinks don't necessarily have to all be the same. There are many different ways to make a boba drink. A simple juice bubble tea can be made with the syrup in seconds.

Boba Shop Help: Basic Ingredients for Making Peach Bubble Tea

These are the basic ingredients needed to make the peach bubble tea at home, or for your boba shop if you need help as a barista.

  1. Make your tea. The tea should be 2 teaspoons of the tea leaf flavor of your choice for every 16 ounces of water. Here are the tea leaf flavors for bubble tea.
  2. Place 5 to 6 ounces of cooked tapioca pearls per 16 ounces into the bottom of the cup.
  3. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons peach syrup flavoring to the drink for every 16 ounces.
  4. Pour the tea, along with the milk (if you are making a milk tea) into the cup and shake, or mix it together.
  5. If you are adding milk to create a peach milk tea, then add 4 to 6 tablespoons of the milk tea powder mix, or use 7 to 8 ounces of milk with 8 ounces of tea.
  6. Add ice as needed.

Please refer to the guide to making the perfect tapioca pearls, and cooking tapioca pearls to ensure that your bubble tea drink has good flavor and texture.

The peach boba is worth mentioning as an additional ingredient besides the traditional tapioca pearls. They can really make a juicy bubble tea even more juicy. It is known as the peach exploding (bursting) boba. The bursting boba is found here for purchase:

The container has plenty of bursting boba to last for quite awhile, with 7 pounds worth. These are a very popular choice, as they are ready to consume straight out of the container. They are very juicy, and can bring out the peach in peach milk tea even more. The mango jelly boba also goes well with the peach tea as well. The boba is placed at the bottom of the drink, just like regular tapioca pearls are.

If you prefer the original pearls, then check out the guide here to cooking tapioca pearls. The boba types are listed here as well.

The tea leaves flavors that go well with peach are oolong, green tea leaves, and white peach. Here is the tea leaves section for purchasing the loose tea leaves, if you are interested in combining your bubble tea with tea (not all bubble tea actually has tea). It will go over steeping as well. If you want to keep it simple and inexpensive, grab the milk tea mix instead, which contains the traditional black tea leaves.

It can get pretty expensive if you're using milk tea from scratch. Not because of the tea leaves (these are cheap and highly recommended), but because of the usage of milk instead of the milk tea mix for making the boba drink. This can eat into your wallet, and hurt profits for your boba shop or side hustle; so stick with the mix. If you choose to use the regular milk and make milk tea from scratch, then the coconut milk works well for fruit flavors.

Making boba drinks is super fun if you have all the materials. This one is easy, and goes well with all types of fruit flavors.
