Cherry Bubble Tea Combinations & How to Make Them

Cherry Bubble Tea

Cherry Bubble Tea Picture

Cherry bubble tea has a taste like no other fruit on the face of the earth. It is very hard to describe if it is to be compared to another. Cherrys' unique taste is best compared to medicine; not the full flavor of it, but slightly with a sweet, pleasant, and very prevalent flavor. Cherries are best eaten all by themselves, instead of in combination with other fruits. However, the cherry bubble tea can be combined with peach. Chocolate works well with this too.

Here we will discuss drink combinations to make using the cherry syrup for your homemade drinks, or boba shop as a barista. If you need the syrup to make boba drinks, it is found here:

Boba Shop Help: Basic Ingredients for Making Cherry Bubble Tea

These are the basic ingredients needed to make the cherry bubble tea at home, or for your boba shop if you need help as a barista.

  1. Make your tea. The tea should be 2 teaspoons of the tea leaf flavor of your choice for every 16 ounces of water. Here are the tea leaf flavors for bubble tea.
  2. Place 5 to 6 ounces of cooked tapioca pearls per 16 ounces into the bottom of the cup.
  3. Add 2 to 4 tablespoons of cherry syrup flavoring to the drink for every 16 ounces.
  4. Pour the tea, along with the milk (if you are making a milk tea) into the cup and shake, or mix it together.
  5. If you are adding milk to create a cherry milk tea, then add 4 to 6 tablespoons of the milk tea powder mix, or use 7 to 8 ounces of milk with 8 ounces of tea.
  6. Add ice as needed.

Cherry Milk Tea

Cherry milk tea is made by using the milk tea mix, which comes with the traditional black tea leaves already in it, found in the how to make milk tea guide. The milk tea tea just has to be made, and then the cherry syrup added. This will create the cherry milk tea. Regular milk can be used in exchange with soy milk for vegans, almond, coconut, or whole milk, but it has to be combined with a loose tea leaf flavor in order for it to be a milk tea.

Ingredients include:

  • Milk tea mix or Regular milk (whole, soy, coconut, or almond)
  • Tea leaf flavor
  • Cherry Syrup

Cherry Boba Drink

The cherry boba is made exclusively with the cherry exploding (bursting) boba added to any flavored bubble tea. The cherry, as mentioned earlier, can be combined with peach and chocolate boba drinks. The base of these drinks would be made first, and then the cherry bursting boba would be added in as an extra.

It can be made with tapioca pearls, but making them requires cooking, but it is worth it. Check making tapioca pearls section for more guidance.

Ingredients:

  • Cherry Popping Boba or Tapioca Pearls
  • Anything flavored bubble tea

A list of the flavors is here in the 50 plus boba flavor options, and the cherry popping boba is here:

Cherry Milk

Cherry milk can be made by using soy milk, coconut, whole milk, or almond milk with either cherry bursting boba, or cherry syrup. Both of these can be used in the same drink to give the milk a cherry flavor. This would be kind of similar to the cherry boba drink, since popping boba is used.

It would be really quick to make, without any tea leaves to brew, or tapioca pearls to cook.

Ingredients:

  • Cherry Syrup and/or Popping Boba
  • Milk of your choice

Cherry Tea

Cherry tea is another option without tapioca pearls, that requires tea leaves to be brewed, and then combined with the cherry syrup. The tea would be the base, which can changed based off the tea flavor used. The syrup would turn it into a cherry tea. Black tea leaves would give a heavier flavor, while the green tea would be lighter. Oolong would fall somewhere in between the green and black tea leaves. If you really love tea and cherries, this is a good option.

Ingredients:

  • Cherry Syrup
  • Tea leaf flavor of your choice
