Banana Split Bubble Tea Ingredients
Banana Split Bubble Tea
This is an article that I couldn't wait to make, which I thought would be a good idea as a special for a boba shop, party, or event. This will go over the ingredients for making a banana split flavored bubble tea. You can make this at home too, if you like, but one important note: This will actually be 100% drinkable.
This isn't some pretty dessert for taking pictures of before dumping it in the trash because its just for 'display'. I know there are a lot of advertisements like this on commercials that make foods and drinks like this to catch the eye, that aren't tasty or cooked all the way. Some of the sweets contain way too much 'decoration' that it's sickly sweet, despite it looking so good.
This is a bubble tea dessert for human consumption; not just eye candy.
The ingredients are:
- Banana Flavoring Mix
- Caramel Syrup
- Cherry Syrup
- Chocolate Bursting Boba or Tapioca Pearls
You can buy the ingredients for the banana split bubble tea here:
For a 16 ounce boba drink add:
Note: This can be added to milk tea, water, whole milk, coconut milk, almond milk, or soy milk (to name a few) as the base.
- Add 3 ounces of chocolate bursting boba or tapioca pearls
- Add 3 to 4 tablespoons of banana mix
- 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup
- 1 tablespoon of cherry syrup
- Stir or shake the drink well
With all of these flavors you'll get the banana as the main ingredient, followed by the caramel, chocolate, then a little cherry. When you drink this with the chocolate boba, you'll always have the banana flavor with the chocolate juice from the bursting boba, bringing back memories of the banana split mixed with cherries and caramel.
There is cherry popping boba if you prefer the cherry as the main flavor, instead of the chocolate. Then, the chocolate syrup can be swapped with the boba so it's still in there. Also, more or less of one of the other ingredients can be increased to your liking if you prefer another flavor over another.
The tapioca pearls, if you choose to use them instead of the bursting boba, have to be cooked first, and then dipped into a sweetener if you want them to have flavor. There is more information here on making the perfect tapioca pearls, with cooking and sweetening.
