HIIT Workouts at Home - Leg Workouts, Pilates, Yoga, Tabata, Zumba
HIIT Workouts
Here is an excellent place to go to do HIIT (High-intensity interval training) in the comfort of your home. Of course when I say the word 'comfort', I actually mean that you will be sweating your way towards that Beachbody on demand while doing leg workouts, Tabata, Pilates, Zumba, and Yoga for stretching and recovery.
You can avoid going through an expensive personal fitness trainer that can cost somewhere between $60 to $100 an hour. Instead, you can pay that amount one time for a year, and have access to more than just one trainer; that you can pick and choose at any time.
These personal trainers are certified, but far less expensive. You can take them to your local gym too, and they also will give you some awesome music to sweat to.
HIIT Workouts at Home
One of main features of this is the ability to do these high intensity interval training exercises at home, or your personal gym with the guidance of professional trainers.
They always have music available during the workouts; even if they are not doing Zumba exercises. The music encourages you to dance or workout, adding a layer of fun to the sessions.
The trainers actually workout with you, and you can hear them huff and puff. You can see them sweat while they encourage you; talking you through the right way to do exercises.
If you think that you are doing the exercises correctly, sometimes you can be taught through trainers that you were actually doing them wrong. As they do the exercises with you, they will correct your posture making the workouts more difficult, but definitely more beneficial; maximizing your sessions within the allotted time period.
Besides running, the cardio exercises can get pretty good with some running high knees, mountain climbers, jumping jacks, and burpees. One of the personal trainers, Jaime, had a session where she talked her clients through an exercise segment, explaining how it was a part of her routine she did during her volleyball training.
Another trainer, Mary says, "Faster. Let's go! I want you to bring out your inner athlete."
They will push you to the places you thought you could never go on your personal training, so you can get the results you are looking for.
Others when working out, say that they always include the personal trainers into their exercises every time they are ready to go. They don't leave home without them. The trainers have pushed them farther and farther, while keeping it both fun and encouraging.
One of the members said, "While running on the treadmill, I would normally mentally talk myself out of it, but the app helps me to stay committed."
The trainers can be picked from categories, depending on what you like:
- Fun
- Supportive
- Technical
Fun to keep you entertained and focused; Supportive in remembrance of your current level of fitness to keep you motivated; Technical to keep you challenged and on your toes.
Leg Workouts
The leg workouts include squats, lunges, lateral hops, hip dips, leg raises, calf raises and more. The exercises will target your glutes as well as your thighs and calves. A lot of squats are involved in the exercises, with some change ups here and there; to do some jump squats or hip dips for example.
Pilates
You can do exercises similar to Pilates by working with the personal trainers; starting at beginner level, to intermediate, and even advanced by continuing day by day exercises that range from 15 to 45 minutes or more.
Tabata
Tabata workouts will challenge you with higher intensity and some breaks in-between to catch your breath. Depending on the level of intensity, the workout periods can last for a few minutes, with breaks of about 30 seconds in between.
Zumba
Zumba exercises will challenge you as you do workouts to the beat of the music with high intensity dances.
Yoga
Increase flexibility with yoga exercises that will also help your breathing, as you practice inhalation, exhalation, and meditation. Great for relieving stress.
